The Shining will always be one of my favorites of all. Even as a bit of a modernist when it comes to cinema, that one just takes me somewhere else. I'm overdue to watch that one so far this October. May need to go on the agenda for tonight lol.

The Ring terrified me as a kid, too! I remember renting that on VHS from blockbuster and being petrified hahaha. Something about those movie rentals and not knowing what to expect beyond what was on the cover was just so enticing. I'd kill to recreate some of those early experiences with horror.
