I think that’s a not very sensible statement to make of such a proven liar. What we see is what we get, and what we get is someone who can hardly utter a single true word during a 90 minute debate? I think Biden is infinitely more transparent and far less likely to do the opposite of what he says the very day he says it. People misinterpret Trump’s total lack of restraint and willingness to say anything as honesty sometimes. I doubt you’d deny that very often Trump said one thing and did another. I think his words and promises mean nothing and that he’d happily harm the country over and over again if it benefitted him.

I think there may be some element of covering up his decline. But I doubt he would have been capable of the SOTU, the latest interview, or even that appearance immediately after the debate if the decline were quite as severe as so many are alleging. I’m confidently sure that Biden would be aware he was president if woken up in the middle of the night. But if he didn’t, that just speaks to the ham sandwich for president idea. Feels like a significantly safer option anyway i cut it (No pun intended). Plus, dreams are pretty damn crazy and immersive sometimes. I might not know I was president either hahaha
