Thrilled to see you persevering, continuing to write, and making light of what I'm sure is very frustrating. I've posted quite a few articles that landed in the void, so the struggle is certainly familiar. When I joined Medium initially in 2019, I was so discouraged by an article's non-existent reception that I quit and didn't begin writing on here again until 2022. And even then, the void was where many of my pieces continued to land. But as I imagine you may have realized yourself, writing is a reward in itself. And I hope you don't ever let the limited applause dissuade you from continuing to write. You're definitely a voice I hope lingers around.

That said, I could imagine that beginning to diversify and post on Substack might be a useful way of feeling like you're taking back some power. It has drawbacks of its own, but also soars above Medium in a few notable ways.
