Well said. I couldn't agree more. The idea for medium to base payment around claps, comments and highlights really seems like a shift in the wrong direction. Those are easy metrics to fool. But convincing someone to read a piece for 30 seconds, let alone all the way through, that usually requires writing to be pretty captivating. That's the one that really tells you something.
