But now things have changed. Trump is being supported not only by conservatives. Many who believe in progress, individual freedom, and universal human rights will vote for him. The grotesque irony is that they’ll do so regardless of whether Trump himself believes in all of that. Because they truly fear that these values will not survive in American society if Harris wins.
