What made it sound dangerous? I think it’s taught me a lot about myself. I’m very thankful for it.

What you describe sounds like it might be the beginning of a lucid dream. So within your dream, there will be a few seconds where you realize you’re dreaming? The only difference between a regular dream and a lucid dream is the awareness that what’s happening isn’t real. In most dreams, we’re constantly fooled into thinking things that are outlandish are real. So for me, i’ll be dreaming normally and notice something is strange or amiss, and from there i’ll realize that i’m dreaming and have some control over what’s happening. Does that make sense? It’s a pretty nebulous idea!
