When I was in Israel myself, I was a little surprised by how common the pro-Trump sentiment was. There were a few I spoke with who believed he was a tyrant, but there are a quite lot of Jews who considered him the better leader in that regard. My own thinking is that he might very well be better for Israel, but I think he's also got the capacity to be a lot worse. I don't really believe that in his heart he cares about Jewish people or anti-semitism as much as he sees an ally in Netanyahu.
