You raise some incredibly valid flaws with this movie. I hope it doesn't taint my love for it too much lol. This is one I've actually considered an all-time favorite for quite awhile.
Interestingly, the plot itself doesn't sound like something that would appeal to me very much. But there was just a magic to this movie's atmosphere and the simplicity of its soundtrack that really left an impression on me. I also didn't know for some reason that this was made by the same director as Steve Jobs, 127 Hours and 28 Days Later! I didn't used to pay nearly enough attention to the behind-the-sceenes minds of each movie when I was younger.
