You're right that this wouldn't be a hard one to revisit. It's certainly dark, but the uplifting message really makes up for it. A truly spectacular movie.

It may not be one I'm up to writing about myself, but it's definitely one I was affected by. Is it in bad form to do 25 year retrospectives after 26 years? Would it be too loaded to tie it into the state of democracy in the world right now instead? Or should I just accept that a million essays written on this movie is probably enough hahaha
